<sub>Sagefoot glanced at the river when it was mentioned by the she-cats. He himself loved it, and had often leaped into the deep parts when he was a daring apprentice, to show off how good of a swimmer he was. It is said that Riverclan cats swim like otters, and for Sagefoot, that statement was correct.

"What?" He mewed, "It's just a fish, Snowbliss is right. Clanmates share prey." Sagefoot's tail flicked normally and his fur lay flat, as if Monarchblossom's prediction was stupid. But inside he felt nervous. Is it really that obvious to tell I like Snowbliss?</sub>

Monarchblossom didn't react much to either of their responses, but inside she was purring with pleasure.
They're pathetic.
"Of course I share prey with my clan. Almost every tom offers." She said, answering Snowbliss' question. The shecat hadn't said it in a bragging way, but intended to make it sound odd.
It'll make them even more obvious with their feelings.
Like she was cupid, she noticed their attempts to hide their expressions. She looked from Snowbliss to Sagefoot, and then back to Snowbliss, while she smiled like nothing was wrong. It was awkward, and she that. But her goal was simple, and so far she was acheiving it.
It's too easy to embarrass these two.
"You too are just too damn cute." She mewed, laughing slightly. "And just way too obvious."
Maybe I'm doing them a favor..

Snowbliss cast her yellow orbs on Sagefoot when he agreed with her, and she gave him a gracious nod. It would take them both to convince their Clanmate that there was nothing going on between them. She looked back to Monarchblossom, her gaze cold. She had a horrible temper and this she-cat was pushing her to her limit. Almost every tom offers. Snowbliss rolled her eyes at the comment and couldn't help but snort softly in disagreement. She highly doubted the statement. Snowbliss narrowed her eyes at Monarchblossom's glances, her anger boiling inside her. She hated the way Monarchblossom was smiling, like she knew something Snowbliss didn't. It was really starting to piss her off.

Snowbliss gasped at her next comment and stepped forward, closing the distance between her and other other she-cat a little more. She bared her teeth in a menacing way. "How dare you? You don't even know me or Sagefoot, you can't just parade around like you know everything. When in reality, you don't know the first thing about... anything at all. There's nothing going on between us, and even if there was, it's none of your business," she leaned back and smirked at Monarchblossom. She was definitely not going to let this she-cat push her around.

_{Sagefoot's eyes narrowed at Monarchblossom's comment, and he felt his blood boiling in anger. Who does she think she is? Parading around here and acting like she knows everything! He glanced at Snowbliss as her words echoed his thoughts. He felt a fight was seconds from happening and stepped slightly inbetween them. "Snowbliss is right, you don't know either of us. Now leave us alone, mousebrain." Sagefoot mewed, his anger finally slipping out in the form of words.}

Monarchblossom laughed as they yelled at her. The mousebrain insult didn't even bother her.
I've been called much, much worse.
She echoed Snowbliss' smirk, and smiled bitter sweetly at Sagefoot. "I thought I was doing you two a favor." She mewed, innocently. "Because it's obvious you two have feelings for each other. Why keep it a secret? Wouldn't it make you much happier if you were together? Or do you like being alone?" She asked the questions simply, and honestly. Then dark thoughts clouded her mind. She frowned at them, being reminded of herself.
Oh, well. Might as well say it.
"Or do you find it much more amusing to be leading each other on?" She looked at both of them, wondering how they would react. She knew she was being a hypocrit by saying that. But, she was known to lead toms on, and then just drop them. She knew she shouldn't do that, but did anyway.
It's much more fun.
The shecat wanted what she couldn't have, and knew that. And right now, it was the deputy. For some reason she couldn't get her paws on him, and it made her angry. "I just thought I was doing you two a favor." She said, now looking at the river. Monarchblossom got ready to leave, but she wanted to know what their reactions would be, so turned back to both the warriors.
Just to see if my goal is reached.
What she was trying to do wasn't mean at all, it was just the way she presenting it. "Even though you say there is nothing going on between you two, Snowbliss. There is." She explained, hoping to get them to understand. The scene was starting to bore her. "Why do you have to act blind and pretend like nothing is going on?" She then asked, not trying to embarrass them this time.

Snowbliss glared at the other she-cat, her deep yellow orbs narrowed to slits. She listened to Monarchblossom as she spoke, resisting the urge to pounce on the she-cat and rip that conceited smile right off her annoying face. She dug her unsheathed claws into the ground, trying to restrain herself. If her Clanmate kept going on, Snowbliss wasn't sure she could hold back any longer. I just thought I was doing you two a favor. Snowbliss's gaze followed Monarchblossom as the warrior looked towards the river. Snowbliss glanced at Sagefoot, peering at the tom. Did he really like me? she wondered to herself. He didn't act out of the ordinary, he just offered her some prey. Besides, Snowbliss wasn't even sure if she had feeling for him.

She blinked, her eyes straying back to Monarchblossom. Why do you have act blind and pretend like nothing's going on? Snowbliss let out a sigh and sat back. She wasn't going to let her anger get the best of her, definitely not on Monarchblossom. She sheathed her claws and wrapped her fluffy tail around her paws. "I am not blind, you are pushy. Nothing is going on, Monarchblossom. All we did is share prey, there's nothing special about that," she mewed, her tone calm, but restrained.

Frsotrunner was out huting some prey in the marshes of Riverclan territory. He was stalking a water vole by the river, upwind of the other three Riverclan cats. Just as the sleek, gray and white tabby tom was about to pounce on his target, he heard the voices of angry cats arguing with one another. He stood up crossly as the vole darted into the reeds by the river, also hearing the voices. "Mousedung," he hissed under his breath, his tail tip flicking to and fro in agitation. Frostrunner stalked downriver, following the angry voices.

He stepped through the reeds and stood face to face with Snowbliss, Monarchblossom, and Safefoot. "What's going on here?" the Riverclan deptuy demanded with a deep growl, glaring at his three clanmates with his icy blue eyes. "You guys are being too loud, scaring off prey like that," he said, quickly explaining what happened during his unsuccessful hunt upriver.

Snowbliss let out a hiss and glared at Frostrunner. "She-" she pointed with her tail at Monarchblossom - "thinks me and Sagefoot love each other! Will you punish her, please?"
