Diesel listened to her, but her smart remark in the end was enough to break his heart. Even though he was a bit of jerk, he felt for this she-cat who had obviously been through some tough stuff. He nudged her shoulder gently, then stepped back quickly before she could do anything. "I understand where you're coming from, but I'm not getting a show out of your pain." Diesel muttered, blue eyes questioning.

Allie watched him touch her, but he moved too fast for her to react on time. She decided to ignore it. There's no point. She still stared at nothing, not wanting to look the tom in the eyes. He cared for her. That was obvious. And it made her sick. "I understand where you're coming from, but I'm not getting a show out of your pain." Allie pricked her ears, processing what he had just said. It made her angry. What does he know?! "Show outta my pain?" She repeated the statement as both a question and comment, and then laughed. "You think I'm in pain?" With that, the small tabby got up and faced him. She saw his blue eyes, looking at her in confusment. She ignored them, and kept staring into his eyes with her fierce mint green eyes. "You're not seeing my pain. You're seeing me survive... Diesel." She spat, and sat there, challenging him.

"Surviving and thriving are two different things." He mewed quietly, trying to calm her down a little bit with his soft tone. Diesel's words were full of wisdom, even though he was 5 moons younger than Allie. It did make sense... Thriving meant something was doing well, where as survinvg just meant they were alive. "I'd prefer to see someone thriving." He muttered.

"I'd prefer to see someone thriving." Allie stopped thinking, but continued to stare into his questioning blue eyes. Thriving? What the hell? "Thriving on what?" She asked, in a monotone voice. She moved forward one step, trying to figure out what his intention with her was. Maybe.. I can catch some emotion in his face that will reveal something. The shecat stared, not thinking about how awkward it was to have someone stare at you, when they were only inches from you.

Diesel smirked his charming smirk, his eyes soft. "Not on anything, but in life." He explained quickly, not caring to spend much more time explaining a saying. "And, may I help you?" He asked with sarcasm, moving forward so their noses didn't touch, but they could have held a single hair inbetween them. "You're a little close." He smiled, looking into her eyes and noticing she was staring into his eyes, "Are you trying to look through me?" He joked.

"Not on anything, but in life." Allie ignored his explanation, just kept staring. Hoping to see just a glimar of something she could use to explain the way he was acting. "And, may I help you?" Still, Allie did not move. But she noticed sarcasm in his facial expression, and felt triumphant, but still unaware she was as close as she was. "You're a little close." The words finally rang a bell to her ears. She tried to disect them. Close? "Are you trying to look through me?" Allie instantly was aware of where her body was, and jumped back. She glared at him, wanting to blame the tom for her foolish actions. "No, I mean yes. I just..." She stopped talking and looked at her paws. "You were being nice. I'm not used to that." She admitted, and looked back up with her glaring eyes.

Diesel tipped his head, "Cats aren't normally nice to you?" He asked, ignoring her glare as if it never happened. He acted so much like her that he knew when glares meant nothing and when he should keep on talking. This was one of those times. He looked over the she-cat, sure, she was stubborn. But that didn't mean she wasn't nice enough to talk too.

"Cats aren't normally nice to you?" Allie flattened her ears, and decided to be honest. "Well, usually it's the other way around. And you know. What goes around comes around." She mewed, and looked down once again. "I deserve it anyway." He's the first cat I've ever opened this much to...

Diese nodded, "Oh, I know how that goes." He nodded, slightly in thought. When he ccame out of his pointless thoughts he looked back at Allie, being reminded of how pretty she was. "You don't desserve it... All cats say things that seem mean or rude." He pointed out softly.

She flinched at his honestly, and instantly felt bad because she didn't care if he could relate to her. Sad... but true. "You don't desserve it... All cats say things that seem mean or rude." "I don't deserve it." She repeated, softly. Sighing, the shecat looked at him again. "How would you know?" She asked him, and then stepped forward, inches from him again. This time, not in the awkward way, but to get his attention sort of way. "You barely know me... Nor do you know what I've said or done."
