A lean, muscular gray and and white tabby tom slipped through the reds of the Riverclan warrior's den. The deputy's bright, icy blue eyes scanned the camp, and stalked silently towards the center of the camp. Frostrunner sat down with his tail wrapped neatly around his big paws. He looked up towards the horizon, and saw that the sky was becoming scarlet. He saw a couple of cats already out of their dens, and gestured towards them for the dawn patrols.

Monarchblossom spotted the deputy almost immediately.
Yummy.
Remembering to sway her body naturally, she padded over to him and sat down, purring. "I'll join them, sweety." She said sweetly, batting her eyes. Her eyes scanned the tom slowly, soaking up his muscles. She smiled and surpressed a sigh.
He is beyond handsome.
Her eyes floated up to his eyes, and her smile got even bigger.
His eyes are gorgeous!
Purring with satisfaction, Monarchblossom licked her paw.
This will totally keep me amused. |

Frostrunner glanced over at Monarchblossom with a small, slightly mischievous and friendly smile on his handsome face. He dipped his head in greeting to the warrior she-cat, and touched her pink nose with the tip of his tail, winking at her. "Can you lead one then, and take a couple of cats with you, to the Shadowclan border?" The Riverclan deputy's low voice rumbled deep in his throat.

Monarchblossom mimiced his same smile, and purred even louder once he touched her nose.
Perfect.
"Can you lead one then, and take a couple of cats with you, to the Shadowclan border?"
The shecat tilted her head to the side, going over this command. She didn't like to be told what to do..
But... He may be an exception.
"I can... If you come with me." She mewed, rubbing lightly against him. She looked up and him and gave him her own flirty smile.

"Er," the tabby tom muttered under his breath, trying to think of what he should do. Either go on this patrol with Monarchblossom and some others, or stay here to organize some more patrols. He let out a small sigh, and then finally, got up. "Fine. You round up some others for the dawn patrol, and I'll get some other cats to go on a hunting patrol," Frostrunner told her lightly, flashing her another small smile. He glanced around the camp again.

Even though he muttered it, she heard it. And it made her uneasy.
Does he not want to go with me?
"Fine. You round up some others for the dawn patrol, and I'll get some other cats to go on a hunting patrol,"
Monarchblossom narrowed her eyes in suspicion.
What...?
Having no other choice, she also got up and looked around lazily. Cats didn't seem like they wanted to come with... |

Stormshadow walked up to see Frostrunner. Since his mate was in the nursery he decided to do something. Is there anything I can do, like patrol the Thunderclan side? he asked. He wanted to see his mother.

He glanced sideways at the other warrior, now feeling a little bad at his reaction to her offer. "Monarchblossom, what's the matter?" Frostruner asked her with a soft tone to his voice as he stepped to stand besides her. "Just to let you know, I'm very excited to be on a patrol with you." He was then slightly distracted by Stormshadow, and nodded his head. "Take two other cats with you," he told the tom.

Buttercuppaw saw the two cats and narrowed her eyes slightly at Monarchblossom. She's flirting with my mentor! She raised her orange tabby tail straight in the air and glided over to Frostrunner with a natural elegance an fluid movement. The apprentice stopped infront of him and dipped her head, batting her bright green eyes, "Frostrunner, may I come? I haven't been on a patrol with you in awhile." She mewed softly, using her sweet gentle voice that she used with most any cat. |

Frostrunner glanced back at Monarchblossom to see again if she was ok, and then looked down at his smal apprentice with a slightly amused smile. "Yes, you may come with us Buttercuppaw," the tom mewed to her in a quiet voice, sensing Buutercuppaw's feelings about Monarchblossom and the minor flirting that was going on. He then moved stealthily to the Riverlcan camp entrance, ordering his patrol to follow with a flick of his long tail.
Should we make another thread for this dawn patrol in the RC Territory?)
