Life on the Moor(OPEN)

Poppystar sat in the midst of the Windclan camp, surveying her clan. It was mostly empty, it was the late afternoon, and most of the clan as out hunting, or on patrol of some sort. It was a nice day, in the middle of Greenleaf, prey was plentiful, and the weather on the moor was nice. She smiled softly to herself, everything was going great, nothing could ruin her good mood.

Silently, a silver tabby padded out of her small den. She looked around the almost empty camp, and smiled to herself. Silversky liked the quiet better, anyway. Looking up, she noticed Poppystar, Windclan's leader, also surveying the camp area.
She looks happy..
Silversky padded toward her leader, anxious to share the happiness with her. She'd do anything to get her mind off of the unorganized herbs awaiting her in her cozy den.
"Good afternoon, Poppystar." Silversky purred as she sat next to her leader. "Happy today, aren't we?" The silver tabby looked up at her leader and smiled. Her leader's and clan members' happiness made her less stressed.

Poppystar smiled down at the medicine cat. "Yes we are," She purred "I can't seem to help myself, it's just so beautiful today." She looked back up at the blue sky, it was perfect. Perfect and quiet for once! Which wasn't always a good thing, the nursery was empty, and so was the apprentice den, which left all the grunt work like taking care of the elders (There were no queens to worry about, hence the empty nursery) to the younger warriors.

A slightly fluffy dark ginger she-cat's head poked out of one of the many small burrows that occupied the Windclan camp. Her bright amber eyes scanned the camp, and her fur was buffeted in the slight breeze. Fallebblaze spotted both the Windclan leader and medicine cat sitting together, talking to each other, and it was obvious that they both were in a happy mood. She decided to join them, and offered Poppystar and Silversky a friendly smile, flicking the tip of her long tail in a greeting. "Yes, it is a very beautiful day today," Fallenblaze agreed in a quiet mew, glancing out in the very sunny moors

Silversky followed Poppystar's gaze that led to the blue sky. It was blue, as usual.
Beautiful as usual.
"Yes, it is a very beautiful day today," At first, the familiar voice made the shecat jump. But, as she looked to see it was only Fallenblaze, relaxed and smiled at the pretty shecat.
"Well, then. How are you both today? No injuries for me to treat to, right?" Silversky teased and took a deep breath. She hoped they didn't have any...
I just want today to be relaxing...

Poppystar nodded a polite greeting to Fallenblaze, and then turned back to Silversky "Don't worry," She purred "I'm in the best of health." knowing that the medicine cat was secretly hoping nothing was wrong, so that she could continue to bask in the warmth of the afternoon sun.

Fallenblaze smiled at the leader and medicine cat, and sat down besides them with her long ginger tail curled neatly around her paws. "I'm also pretty healthy, and hopefully the rest of the Windclan cats are too," she mewed to Silversky, glancing quickly up at the clear sky. For once, Fallenblaze was happy about it being nice and sunny out, when she usually wanted rain.

Silversky smiled at both of them, beyond grateful. "Well I'm glad, looks like starclan has blessed us with a sick-free season." She spoke warmly. She tried to keep her voice under control. Bad thoughts kept coming to mind, making her voice shake a little.
Or maybe I'm just imagining things?
Shaking her head slightly she replaced her nervousness with a fake smile.
No use worrying everyone.
Changing the subjet, Silversky tried to create small talk. Hoping that she was successful. "So, uh, how has prey been running recently? I've been too busy searching for herbs to notice."

Poppystar's smile fell slightly, something was wrong with Silversky. She could tell when people weren't completely truthful, and there was something wrong with the she-cat demeanor. She shook if off quickly, "The prey is running very well, the rabbits don't seem to be able to stop breeding." She chuckled, to herself, that had always been a joke between her and her brother.

She was also growing slightly suspicious of Silversky's thoughts and the way she was feeling. Fallenblaze could tell when a cat, especially one from her own clan, was have dark thoughts or under some sort of stress, and she wondered why the medicine cat would be feeling that way now. The ginger she-cat let out a laughing grunt at Poppystar's little remark about the rabbits.
