"Memorypaw! Get over here!" The loud scream broke Memorypaw from her thoughts. Her stormy gray eyes hardened at the sound of her mothers voice, "Why? I don't even WANT to go." Her voice was rather dark. Her white and gray spotted fur was flawless as she made her way towards the puddle to check herself out. Much rather hanging out by herself and doing something else than going to meet her mother's best friend and their son Raggedpaw. Memorypaw's well sculpted face was frozen in a frown as she started to lick at her fur to keep it down. A growl rumbled from deep within her throat as she turned to face the other way. This wasn't her perfect little day first off her mother told her that she had to go get ready as soon as she woke up. It was morning! No need to get all pretty for other cats, but it is what Windclanners should act like. Her mother's voice echoed once more around area.
"We should be there by now!" Hissed her mother, who was by now watching Memorypaw from the grass, "You look nice. The way you always should, great way to impress them." Her mother boasted happily. All Memorypaw could do was grunt in protest as she walked passed her with a bland look on her face. Her short soft fur bounced as she made her way out the clearing, flicking her tail behind her. Not waiting for her mother to even have a chance to walk out before her.
-Once they got to the place where Raggedpaws parents are-
"Put on a smile Memorypaw and be kind." Her mother jeered putting on a smile as she meowed her welcoming, waiting for them so she could see her friend again, "There will be prey."
Memorypaw grimaced as her mother turned away, "I will try my best." Muttering to herself, she could smell the stomach greeting smell of food wafting through the grasses from the other clearing. Hungry as she was, she fought back the willing to go inside. Her 'best' was very slim at that moment, hoping nothing would get in her way of having a nice meet and greet, with people she barely knew.

"Geez, lady, get off of me," the white and black striped apprentice muttered aloud. He was earned a cuff on the shoulder by his mother. Raggedpaw glanced up at Hazeldrop, a beautiful tabby she-cat with bright blue eyes. She scowled at him in an obviously disapproving fashion. "Don't talk to your mother that way," she replied and continued to lick his ear. Raggedpaw instantly moved away. "I'm not a kit, I'll do it myself," he said with a frown and smoothed down his fur. He felt Hazeldrop's eyes on him and he turned with raised eyebrows.
"If it weren't for those scars, you'd look perfect," Hazeldrop mewed and Raggedpaw flashed her a glare. He liked his scars from his past; a torn ear and a slash mark running down his right hindleg. They were battle scars, not real battles, but hard enough battles with your brother. Hard enough to make him leave the Clan and become a loner. Raggedpaw cleared his throat, desperate to change the topic. It was bad enough his own mother was insulting him in the face. "Question," he replied, pausing his grooming and staring at his mother with a blank expression on his handsome face. His mother turned to look at him. "What is it, Raggedpaw?' she asked with a sigh.
"Why are we doing this shiz? And most importantly, why do I have to go?" he asked. He'd much rather be hanging out with his friends and skipping his apprentice duties than having to meet his mother's best friend and her daughter for a real time. He knew them distantly, but not well enough to know their names. He smirked when Hazeldrop glowered at him. "Because, she's my best friend and you will meet her. I'll drag you by your tail if I have to," she replied and Raggedpaw knew she meant it. He shrugged and padded towards her.
"Whatever, let's just hurry up and get this over with," he muttered. Hazeldrop smiled brilliantly and led him away from camp. Raggedpaw followed, wondering if the daughter of the best friend was pretty. Maybe he'd get laid tonight. Just the thought put a smile on his face and his sorrows vanished. He bounded to catch up to his mother so they were padding side by side. "If you say anything stupid or weird, I'll personally beat you to a pulp," Hazeldrop murmured to him, and Raggedpaw glanced up at her. He scooted away from her, making a comfortable distance between the two. "Whatever you say, momma," he replied with a half-smile on his lips.
Mother and son entered the clearing, and the smell of prey overwhelmed Raggedpaw. His stomach growled instantly. "Yo, where's the prey at?" he said, quite loudly, and glanced around. He felt another cuff of his mother's paw, this time on his ear, and turned to face Hazeldrop. "Act a little mature? They probably heard you," she whispered. He stared back at her. "I'm not gonna waste my time on a girl," he replied. Unless she's hot. Raggedpaw shrugged and sat down to wait for the others to arrive. His tail flicked back and forth in boredom. This is so much fun, I can barely contain myself, he thought bitterly to himself and almost snorted in laughter at his own cheesy sarcasm. Thankfully, he restrained himself and sat patiently and silent.

Her mother looked at Raggedpaw up and down with questioning eyes, as if approving him enough to talk to her daughter. She nodded slightly, "Thank you. Come on in Memorypaw." She motioned and walked inside the clearing. Her eyes wondered to HazelDrop and she smiled, "Thank you for inviting us, Hazeldrop." She said with a warming melodic voice. She looked around and smirked, "Nice to meet you Raggedpaw." She boasted calmly and walked forward, "This is my daughter Memorypaw." Charlotte smiled and looked at her daughter and gave her a rather threatening look that seemed to say, Do anything wrong. This will be the last time you will ever step out of the house again.
Memorypaw shrugged as she saw the tall tom sitting farther away from his mother, a smug smile came a crossed her face, Well isn't it wonderful that I didn't have to do that. she thought to herself inwardly. Her stormy gray eyes lightened with humor as she looked at him trying too fool his mother with his attempt of acting polite. Memorypaw Padded forward, her eyes falling on the clearing around her, "Nice place..." her monotone voice was short and curt, very quiet so none of the mothers could hear. Heading up towards her mother, she flicked her tail upward and she stalked forward, trying to manage a grin, "We train sometimes together." Sadly enough. she added on coldly, bringing a ghostly appearance of a smirk on her face. "We haven't talked. Much at all." Her gray gaze falling on the tom her face was bland and hard-set.
MelodyStorm looked at her daughter and then back to Hazeldrop, "How have things been?" She asked her thoughts wondering away from the two Apprentices.

Raggedpaw watched the mother as she eyed him and he managed to place a semi-polite smile on his face. His ears flicked back and forth as he waited for the daughter to emerge. When he spotted her, a smirk replaced the smile. Hoootttttt. He shifted his weight and lifted his head slightly higher. When Meoldystorm mentioned him, Raggedpaw tore his gaze from her daughter and back to the mother. "You too," he replied in a murmur. Raggedpaw glanced at his mother, who was staring at him with a challenging look in her eyes. Damn, creep much? he thought to himself. He returned her stare with a freakish one of his own, until Hazeldrop looked elsewhere. This is my daughter, Memorypaw. Raggedpaw's bright blue gaze flashed back to the daughter and his smirk grew wider. "Hey," he greeted, his voice deep and confident.
He looked Memorypaw up and down, his blue orbs twinkling. Imma do her! he thought to himself and was very thankful Hazeldrop didn't read minds. He'd be a corpse if his mother knew what he was thinking. He watched her step forward. Nice place. He glanced around and shrugged like it was no big deal. "S'alright," he replied and felt eyes on him. He let out an annoyed sigh and spun around to face his mother, with a look that said 'Do you freaking mind, stalker creep?' Hazeldrop glared at him, her blue orbs narrowed to slits. Raggedpaw rolled his eyes and turned back to Memorypaw.
"I mean, yes, it is a lovely place with such enchanting scenery. Pleasure to meet you," he said and raised his eyebrows. He heard Hazeldrop snort from behind him and smiled in pleasure. He focused his attention back on Memorypaw. We haven't talked. Raggedpaw shrugged at the other apprentice's words. "Don't act too excited about it," he replied, noticing her blank expression, like she'd rather be anywhere but here. Hey, me too darling.
His ears flicked back and forth, catching snippets of the mothers' conversation. He hear Hazeldrop purr and say, "They've been... okay, I guess. My other son, Jadepaw, left WindClan to become a loner. And Wavecrash, my mate- remember him?, he died from illness. It's just me, Goldenpaw, and Raggedpaw now." Raggedpaw's ears twitched in annoyance. Just announce our family problems to the world, why don't cha? He tuned out Hazeldrop and glanced back to Memorypaw. "Old people are boring, especially my mother," he muttered to her.

Memorypaw looked towards the sky when her mother started to talk. Turning towards the tom she let her gaze quickly move over him. A small ghost of a grin appeared on her face, Not to bad...I suppose. Moving her body in a lazed way over toward the tom she sat herself down. Moving her head up just in time to see the mother and son glare at each other like they wanted to scare each other out of their fur or murder them. She kept looking forward when Hazeldrop looked away and she heard a deep rumble in his throat, "Hello." She replied her eyes slitted grumpily.
Memorypaw felt eyes bore on her skin and of course, it made her uncomfortable for two reasons one, well it's just creepy when people stare at you for a long period of time. Two, she barely even knew the tom and he was looking at her as if she was prey. "Eye's somewhere else, Raggedpaw." She growled quickly and moved her pointedly towards his direction. "Yup. It would be better alone." Her thoughts ran when she watched him turn around quickly with a glare on his face towards his mother. Ha! What a loser. She thought with a grin. Managing her eye's poorly they wondered down his leg and saw the scars. What happened through her brain she didn't know but it annoyed her a lot that she almost caught herself asking questions that might actually start a conversation towards the tom. When he turned back around she looked at him with the same look before. Thanks mom. He is lovely. I would want his kits right now. she snorted in her mind.
What he said next...well blew her mind and she sat there. Her cold face faltered into a cheeky grin and she bursted out into a harmonic laughter fit. Almost toppling over she managed to get herself up on her paws and managed to speak shakily, "Yeah. That isn't the most flamboyant thing I've heard in my life." She whispered making sure that his mom wouldn't hear. She could care less if her mother heard her. Memorypaw's face went down into a semi frown and she grimaced once more at the toms words, "I'm sorry. Too much excitement running off me right now I couldn't contain myself."
Melodystorm nodded her gaze filled with grief, "I'm so sorry..." she whispered. Putting her tail on her shoulder she shook her head and spoke of her problems, "When my son died, our family had felt empty." she admitted with a sigh, her eyes glittered with pure devastation. She droned on, the woman looked at her and then whipped her head towards her daughter, "Of course it must be hard loosing your mate and your son" She said, looking a slight bit appalled but then held back a gasp of horror when she heard Memoypaw speak. Melodystorm's eyes wondered from side to side, "Can you show me around the place? It looks real nice." She added quickly, hoping she wouldn't notice her daughters attitude, "I'm really sorry for her acting this way. She has just been so odd after her brothers death. Don't mind it, she means nothing of it at all." She apologized and then shot a glare at Memorypaw.
Memorypaw immediately frowned at her mothers mention of her brother. Her skin went from red to pale in a few moments, she held back a quavered sigh and then turned her head back to Raggedpaw and lifted her eye brows(I don't know what it would be). Her fur hung delicately on her frame but her voice and attitude showed nothing of a sweet, delicate she-cat her mother wanted her to be. Once again, a same frown hit her face and opened her mouth to argue but then shut it, Why does my mother have to act all motherly? "I know. Ugh it's horrible"

Eyes somewhere else, Raggedpaw. The tom chuckled, admiring her attitude. Feisty one, he thought to himself, purposely moving his eyes elsewhere, humming while he did so. It would be better alone. Raggedpaw's eyebrows raised and he made a clicking noise with his tongue. "Naughty?" he asked playfully, but low enough that his mother wouldn't hear and cuff him again. She loved to cuff him, and frankly, Raggedpaw was on the edge of imma-beat-yo-ass-and-i-don't-care-if-you-birthed-me. He positioned himself so his back was to his mother, completely cutting himself off from her. She was a bore, anyways. When Memorypaw laughed, Raggedpaw smiled, enjoying the melodic noise of her laughter. It was contagious; he couldn't help but giggle himself.
I'm sorry- Raggedpaw shook his head, a smile on his face. "No need to apologize, I like your laugh," he replied in a husky tone. He wasn't listening to their parents' conversation, but something that had been said had made Memorypaw frown. Raggedpaw looked at her curiously, but didn't ask. He had learned that it's better not to ask she-cats what's wrong. They either blab on about something totally unrelated and not worth Raggedpaw's time, or they would get mad because they're really isn't anything wrong but they want you to think there is. Crazy bitches, he thought to himself. Ugh, it's horrible. Raggedpaw nodded his agreement, rolling his eyes for emphasis. "They just can't shut up once in a while. Even if shutting up would do the whole world some good," he said.
Hazeldrop nodded when her friend apologized, grateful for the company. Her blue gaze flitted to Raggedpaw, hoping her rambunctious son would shut his face and quit acting like an idiot. I'll cuff him! I swear, Imma cuff him right on his ear! she thought wildly. Can you show me around the place? Hazeldrop nodded instantly and stood up, padding away from Memorypaw and Raggedpaw. Don't mind it, she means nothing of it at all. Hazeldrop shook her head, nudging Melodystorm in the shoulder. "I should be the one apologizing. Raggedpaw seems to only have one thing on his mind, all day, all night. It's disturbing. He's been like that ever since his father died. The little freak," she said, muttering the last part.

Memorypaw smirked that even a shadowclanner would be proud of. Her gaze fell on the tom once more with slitted eyes. Only he would act all innocent "I'm sorry that I caught you. There is a lot to admire, I know. But I don't care." She snorted with bitterness that she felt from earlier. It wasn't necessarily his fault, but she had to get angry at someone right? Yup that's how her world worked. Moving her gaze around she fluffed up her pelt and started to lick it down once more before intupruted by his clicking noise, "What are you trying to do? Find a clicking beetle to have fun with?" She snorted before listening to what he said next.
Oh... Memorypaw never thought of that. Putting her mask back on she frowned and then turned her gaze away from him to their mothers talking and moved closer to him. Slowly moving her body around him slowly in a circle. Swaying her hips and she managed to find a spot right next to his ear and she managed a breathy whisper, "Maybe....why don't you find out?" She teased but a playful *Sexual* glint was in her eyes. She really didn't mean it, she just wanted to tag along in whatever he was playing at. Flickering the tip of her tail a crossed his shoulder and back and she slowly walked away. "In you're own little perverted dreams. I meant without you and the elders over there,"" She hissed flicking her tail over to the older warriors. She instantly liked his laugh. A purr grew in her throat then suddenly died down to reply to what he said.
"Oh well. I like you're too?" She laughed quietly never dropping eye contact with him. She watched his reaction when he gave her a curious. Memorypaw was confused at first why he would give her that look and then she remembered what she frowned about. Thankful he didn't as a question, she really wasn't going to let him in on her life story right away. Putting her cold emotionless mask back on, her cold gray eyes stared at him andstiffly shrugged it off, "My brother was killed." She sneered quietly. Even though she might of told him what happened and how she knew who it was who killed him she kept it to herself. "Don't even think of giving me any pity. I don't need it." She muttered slowly moving her head away too see where her mother and his mother left. She now leaves me alone with this tom...what are her motives here?! she mentally cursed her mother. Being drawn out of her thoughts by the toms voice and nodded slowly, "It's like they just have to annouce every single thing in the world." she spoke a little loudly now that she knew they were gone. Yet she hoped they would hear her. "Damn she-cats all I hear are complain complain complain whiine whiiiinnneee whiiiiiiineeeee. Nobody loves meeeee. Everyone thinks i'm faaattttt. Proooblemmmmmmsssssss. Well why don't they shut the hell up once in awhile." She commented to herself.

I'm sorry that I caught you. Raggedpaw raised his eyebrows. I'm not, he thought to himself. He chuckled hoarsely at her next comment, shrugging his shoulders a little. "How lame do you think I am?" he asked, referring to her beetle comment. He said it with a smile, so as not too put it harshly. His screaming blue eyes twinkled with happiness. Her movement caught his eyes, and he narrowed his eyes questioningly as she began to circle him. He didn't mind it at all, but it seemed out of character for her. Not like I give a rip, he commented in silence. Why don't you find out? Raggedpaw's white and black ears flicked back and forth, surprised at her words. A smirk slowly grew on his lips until it highlighted his face into a devilish smile. He watched her back away, not at all depressed that she was nowhere near him. For some reason, Raggedpaw didn't care if she was near or far, as long as she was there, it was all okay.
In your own little perverted dreams. Raggedpaw burst out a choke of laughter. He closed his eyes and chortled, wiping a paw over his eyes dramatically. When he straightened back up, there was a new sparkle in his eyes as he looked at Memorypaw. "Dude, you rock," he said with a genuine smile. "And don't think I didn't notice that purr," he added with a raise of his eyebrows. He stood up and padded closer to her, sitting down by her side comfortably, like he was made to stay by her side. Don't even think of giving me any pity. Raggedpaw raised his paws in alarm, his eyes wider than usual. "Wasn't gonna, I've lived through the same thing. Sucks though," he replied, his voice softer than its usual loudness.
Raggedpaw watched his mother leave, thankful that he didn't have to endure her creepyass stares any longer. He stared at the spot where the mothers left for a while, before his gaze flitted back to Memorypaw. When she spoke of she-cats, Raggedpaw's lips raised up in a smile. He broke out into another fit of laughter, his face lighting up. He nudged her in the shoulder before leaning away and looked at her with a smile. "Why haven't I met you before? You're awesome," he muttered in between laughs. When his laughter died down, he got serious. The smile faded and he gave Memorypaw another questioning look. "I hate small talk. Lemme get to the point. You're hot, I'm hot. You're smokin', I'm smokin'. Fact of life, really. Just answer this one question and you won't have to speak of it again, unless of course, you decide you actually enjoy my company and this relationship progresses on. By your previous statements and the looks you've given me, I doubt that's much of a possibility," he rambled, and took a breath. "Okay, got any toms on your radar?" he asked and a small smirk raised his lips.

Memorypaw looked at the tom and grined when he spoke her old thoughts, "Prettttyyyy lame. I mean for clicking like that....I was a bit worried you thought yourself as awesome." She blinked, and laughed, "Nah you're pretty cool." She addded on quickly and smirked when she watched him go through the phases of confusion. A small rare guinuine smile appeared on her face when she circled him. A grin of satisfaction grew on her face when she saw him slit his eyes in question. He had her pinned down already, that's a first. Memorypaw kept her mind tabbed on that part when she watched him with the devilish grin. As if he even had a chance She didn't exactly love the fact of being so close to someone she didn't know. But it seemed okay, it felt...right? Whatever that meant. She just cared that he was in her area, near her. Maybe he and her would somehow learn to lo- like each other like brother and sister or something in that nature.
Whatever his reaction was. She wasn't ready for it, she really wasn't ready for the random laughter he broke out into. It was nice and calming and she felt somewhat proud of herself that she made him laugh like that. Her gray eyes washed over him and she grinned and just had to laugh along with him. Yes, out of her nature but she really didn't care at the moment. She was aloud to have a time where she could just laugh and let everything go with someone who enjoyed being around him. When he straightened out, she managed to attempt to lick her fur back down and stare at him even headedly. "Trust me honey. I don't try." She snickered and nodded, "You are too." Memorypaw looked at him and smirked devilishly again, "Who said I didn't want you to notice it? " Memorypaw looked at him and shook her head slightly, It felt good to be by his side once again, but this time it was just for a normal conversation. She looked at him and nodded with a softer look in her eyes, "Ahh. We are in the same boat. Mothers are crazy. Family was killed. Same age." She smirked and turned back to her paws, staring at them for a long moment. Guilt racing through her body once again.
Memorypaw looked at him and smirked once again when he laughed about her own little rant about she-cats. His question was so....stupid. She purred and rolled her eyes, "Because our Mother's didn't think we wouldn't want to meet each other any other day when he felt like meeting people. Thank's for the compliment. If we ever become close friends, our awesomeness together....Well the whole clan would be totally jealous of our awesomeness." Being off in her own little world she felt his eyes go on her fur again, turning towards him to see the seriousness in his face. Memorypaw suddenly felt the need to ask him why he was serious and quiet. Nodding to agree with his small talk question she felt the need to point out his irony about the whole situation. "Damn. You sure did beat around the bush there. I thought you were going to go talk about the prey," She snickered sarcasticly and then looked at him, "Nahh. I like you so far. You're cool. But no. No toms are on my radar at the moment."

Raggedpaw's gaze was on the ground in front of them as she spoke, giggling every once in a while at her comments. He swiped his tail behind him, making a line in the dust. He thought back to about an hour earlier, when he was complaining about coming. He said he had rather be doing some random she-cat, but now... he wasn't so sure. Getting laid was fun and all, but so was Memorypaw. He glanced at her for a brief moment before moving his gaze elsewhere. We could have a really awesome friendship, or we could just slip in the bushes and- Raggedpaw cut off his own thoughts, a little disturbed at himself. Damn, mother was right. I do have one thing on my mind. The tom straightened up, feeling confident and extremely self-assured. His gaze slid back to Memorypaw for a second. Do I really wanna do her? He eyed her. Uh, hell yes. Although, there was something else that Raggedpaw felt. A bit of protectiveness and definitely love, but not the love he wanted. Raggedpaw wanted to be in love with her, not just love her. But he wasn't in love with her, not the way his mother described it. He just loved her... right?
Damn, I'm a hot mess, he thought to himself. He pushed his thoughts to the side and focused his attention on the she-cat. He probably had looked like an idiot while the mind-war was going on in his messed up, yet attractive, head. I thought you were going to talk about the prey. Raggedpaw snorted in laughter, a smile lighting up his face. "Yup, that's it," he replied. Her next few sentences made his eyebrows tug upwards. "That's a tad shocking, I must say. It's kinda the opposite for me," he said and snorted again at his stupid joke. Every she-cat's on my radar, he determined in his screwed-up mind.
occ; eh, this one's kinda short compared to the others. =|
