A sleek, grey pelted she-cat climbed up one of the pine trees on the edge of the Shadowclan territory. She kept still, breathing in the awful scent of Shadowclan. Her pelt bristled, blue eyes narrowed. These cats were stupid, they didn't know what loyalty was, and it was about time they went under the rule of The Renegades.. But of course, she had to thin out the clans and make them weaker before The Renegades could make their move.
The she-cat climbed from tree to tree quietly, her scent masked by the overwhelming scent of pine trees and sap. She stepped onto a branch, placing her paw in a gob of sap. Her blue eyes narrowed even more, but she kept going from tree to tree, just waiting for a victim to walk past so she could pounce on them and rip their throat out.

Harepaw picked up is paws which felt quiet heavy. His eyes were burning from lack of sleep but what did his harsh mentor care? He woke him up at dawn this morning so he could go out on a solo hunting patrol. He hissed angrily as he trudged lazily through the thick undergrowth of ShadowClan territory. He slipped around tall pines and large thistle bushes. He made a sharp turn around another identical tall pine and he cursed when his paw slipped into thick mud. He yanked on it but it seemed to be stuck. This is great... Harepaw thought, totally oblivious to the danger nearby.

A sinister smile came across Echo's muzzle. The tom was stuck right underneath her tree, how much easier could this be? He was small, and obviously not very muscled. Hm... He must be a young cat. Well, this will get the clans thinking about the dangers ahead for them.
The grey she-cat slid down from her branch, landing square on Harepaw's shoulders. Her claws dug into his shoulders and she bit down on ear hard. Her back paws balanced on his back, claws stuck into his pelt. Her razor sharp claws ripped at his flesh every time he tried to move, leaving deep, bloody wounds.

The attack was unexpected. Harepaw suddenly felt unnaturally sharp claws digging into his pelt and he yowl loudly but I didn't last long for the weight of his attacker weighed him down and his muzzle slammed into the muddy earth to silence him. He tried to struggle but he was much weaker and to small to wiggle around and he knew at that moment it was the end. Still, the code for a shadowclan cat was never to give up. He bucked as best as he could but he knew it was no use from the beginning. His attackers claws scored into his flesh over and over.

Echo smirked and jumped off of him. She slid underneath him and scored her claws across his soft stomach. Her blue eyes glinted with pride, she was going to kill this cat. Echo grabbed the tom's paws and pulled them out from underneath him, making him fall into the mud. The she-cat jumped onto him, pinning him. Her claws scored across his neck, and as soon as it had started, it had ended. Echo had her prey. She bit Harepaw's tail, yanking and pulling, until it came off. Triumphantly she headed back to the town to give the tail to Rambo.

Before Echo could kill him, Harepaw darted out of the way and ran back to his home.
