Lying awake in her nest, Memorypaw laid their listening to the she-cats snores and mumbling filled with sleep. Everyone except her was awake. Perfect. Her light blue gray eyes stared at the Sky, not at all used to the dark clouds, and its new ways. It was uncomfortable to sleep with all the things on her mind. A few more minutes, anger filled within deep of her stomach, forcing herself to get up into the nipping cold air. She shook her messy, but not horrible, White and gray spotted fur. A small part of her wanted to go back into her warm bed and just lay there all night, but that wasn't going to help with Training tomorrow with the uncertainties of what was going to happen. Turning her head back towards the groups of she-cats, a slight roll of the eyes and she turned to head towards the grass lands.
Memorypaw stood there, her rather short, form fitting fur hugged her body as she slightly shivered. Normally she wouldn't even let her self show her own body like this, but this was night. No one was likely to be up at the time she was. Her pale fur was hit by some moon light making herself look like a ghost with the some gray spots that wasn't transparent. Making her way down to the last step she lightly placed a foot on the ice cold ground a chill racing up her spine, widening her eyes. Damn. It's freezing. Her eyes fell on just a dim coal burning in the fireplace. Memorypaw's slim legs shuffled over to them in a quick movement, but it was quiet enough not to wake anyone up.
Plopping herself on the ground she hummed to herself, it really was a sweet sounding one like a person who was humming a kit to sleep would do. Her bare legs were brought up to her chest as she stared blankly into the coal, which was a small dimming red color. A few minutes passed and she wasn't even tired enough to go back to bed. But she was yet exhausted enough not to drag herself up the field back to her nest.
"Sometimes I wish it wasn't so cold and we had an actual nice place to sleep like Thunderclan or something when storms come in."

A black and white tom lay sleeping in the back of the apprentice den. His forest green eyes flickered open for a moment and he saw that Memorypaw was gone. Dominopaw glanced around to make sure no one was looking and crept out of the den on silent paws. His ears flattened as his paws touched the ice cold ground. Damn, Memorypaw! Where ever you went, I hope it isn't far!
The muscled apprentice walked gingerly across the frozen ground, after Memorypaw's scent. He remembered the she-cat's white and grey spotted pelt, and he kept an eye out for it. Seeing nothing he kept going, and then he spotted a small she-cat huddled close to a twoleg fire. His pelt bristled with uncertainty, but he walked over to her and nodded his head.
"Greetings Memorypaw... What are you doing out here?" Dominopaw wondered out loud, sitting down by the embers and curling his tail around his paws. His forest green eyes looked over her messy pelt and tipped his head curiously. Well, she's still pretty.

Memorypaw sat there thinking to herself about what could happen to the Camp. Her body shivered repeatedly in the cool air and it bugged her that she wasn't in her nest asleep with the rest of the Clan. But part of her was glad she was alone, not exactly all happy about being with everyone once again, the people who stayed out meeting up with other cats all night came in later and they weren't as quiet as most people would enjoy them being. Her gaze never left the coal, lighting up her face just a bit. But what also was a thing she was thinking about was... the people she was with over the summer. They all seemed rather comfortable with the new season, but this highly bugged her. Only because after you spend a summer with a worrying mother about who is who and what is what, you start to notice everyone's differences other clans were easy enough to blend in. But once you see what they look like and how they act, you start noticing some in everyone.
Even now that Memorypaw started thinking about of it, she tried to see other clans or rouges running through the Clan freely. Killing off cats, if they got in their way... Letting out a long sigh she moved her face towards the Moore, as if expecting anyone to just appear and do the same thing that happened to her brother. Slightly shaking her head, she wrapped her tail around her body, which was already in a ball, and the shivering stopped. She had No friends here. She normally watched some other cats her age around the camp, because she had nothing better to do. One cat that particurally caught her mind was Raggedpaw. Memorypaw could bet millions of prey that he wasn't one, except the people he hung out with were. Her mind shifted to Pessimisticpaw, a smirk came to her face about the one she-cat who always had to get into trouble somehow. Not possibly, she was happy all the time. Well most of the time. Then lastly her mind came on Dominopaw. The sweet tom who most she-cats loved because of his personality and looks, but she wasn't one of them. Hell she barely even knew the tom.
Memorypaw moved slightly and unwrapped her body, moving her body up against the side and back of the rocks for warmth, it wasn't that soothing. But hey, it was better than her noisy clan. Her mind raced through thoughts right before a voice came out of no where. Letting out a small yelp of surprise, she jumped up covering her mouth over her tail when she looked for who it was. Of course, it was Dominopaw. "You scared the hell out of me!" She hissed in a quiet tone. Part of her wished she could of just gone to bed but nope, here she was. With Dominopaw..in her messy fur. Not even daring to fix her fur just a little bit, only because she was thinking that he would see her as self conscious. But right now she was. It was like she wasn't even clean or looked like the she-cats in the clan who groomed reguarly or anything! Her face went back to the normal small smirk and she slowly went back to the rock, "The clan is loud." She replied shortly.

Dominopaw's ears fell flat, "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He mewed with his soft tone that usually had she-cat's falling all over him. The black and white tom felt sick at the thought... He didn't want all those she-cat's who only cared about themselves, and looks. Oh, how everyone is so conceided! But, what about Memorypaw? I don't know her well enough to judge. Dominopaw thought to himself, thought he had heard she wasn't a friendly character. But she seems fine now.
"I agree... The cats in the clan can be annoying." He replied, referring to the mousebrain she-cats he was thinking about before. Dominopaw looked Memorypaw over, she had a natural look of beauty in his eyes, and it kind of drove him crazy. He had all these she-cats falling all over him, but the one he thought was even worth something was stubborn. "So, how are you?" He mewed, attempting to make conversation.

Paws thudded on the ground in a light, happy step. The arrogant face of Raggedpaw held a victorious smirk on it. He knew it was wrong, betraying the warrior code, but the pretty bengal she-cat of ShadowClan was just too hard to resist. Besides, she didn't talk much and they got right to it, so what was the problem? He was just having some fun, fun that he never got with the talkative she-cats of WindClan. He still hung out with them, and had flirted with most of them one time or another, but their constant whining drove him crazy. He slipped back onto WindClan territory, inhaling the scent of the moor.... and fire? Raggedpaw glanced around, his sky blue eyes that had she-cats crooning for his attention, sweeping over the moor. Raggedpaw ventured further onto his territory and looked around more closely. He spotted smoke in the air and tasted the faint scent of... two of his Clanmates. Raggedpaw concentrated closer, and realized they were the scents of Memorypaw and Dominopaw. A smile appeared on Raggedpaw's lips as he began to follow their scents. What are those two up to? he wondered to himself. He knew Memorypaw, a close friend of his, wasn't easily wavered by the charm of the WindClan toms. She was strong, but Dominopaw had the personality and looks that she-cats dreamed of. He was competition for Raggedpaw, therefore Raggedpaw never gave him the time. He knew him and Dominopaw were the top of the heat concerning the most attractive of WindClan apprentices, but he never knew who was first. He likes to think it's himself.
The smell of fire and smoke became more vivid as he saw the orangey-red colors of the fire. And the familiar pelts of his Clanmates. Raggedpaw bounded down towards them, his black and white pelt glistening in the moonlight. It probably stinks of ShadowClan, he thought, then shrugged to himself. Who gives a rip? His fellow WindClan apprentices were used to his antics involving many of the rival Clan she-cats. He wasn't worried, he knew they wouldn't tattle on him. If they did, Raggedpaw was sure to break a bone or two. He didn't mind hitting she-cats, he wasn't a gentlemen. He was the bad boy of the Clan and he wore the title with pride. Raggedpaw's smile grew wider as the two cats came into sight and he picked up a snippet of their conversation.
"If the cats in this Clan, and I'm assuming you mean the she-cats, Dominopaw, are so annoying, then why put up with them? I know why I do. I'm an attention-whore and they can be somewhat amusing when they're whining about how their fur looks horrible in hopes that I might compliment them," Raggedpaw's smooth, deep voice sounded from behind the two cats as he approached. He walked around them until he could see their faces. "A tip from one tom to another. ShadowClan she-cats: never complain. It's... refreshing," he continued and shrugged at his last word. His bright blue eyes shined with confidence and he stood tall. His gaze flew to Memorypaw and he winked at his friend. "Hey Memorypaw."

Memorypaw looked at the tom and slitted his eyes, one thing she couldn't stand for was apologizing. Honestly...it was stupid. " There isn't a point of saying sorry." She snorted glaring at the tom. Moving her gaze back to the fire she snorted lightly at the tom's voice in her head, "I seriously can't believe she-cats are dumb enough to fall for that voice." She muttered loudly. Memorypaw looked sideways at the tom. Wow. He is trying to make conversation. "Fine. You?" She didn't need to talk much to get her point acrossed, so why waste breathe beating around a bush? Her gray gaze fell on the apporaching tom and she tilted her head to the side, "What? Oh well they are annoying too. Seriously I think I would go insane if I was a tom and had them following after me." Her voice sounded more soft and curious than it did before. A ghost of a smile appeared on her face, only because he didn't gawk at her like most of the boys did (Okay. So maybe she is self centered but oh well...) and Dominopaw did when she was looking at the fire. For heaven sake, she didn't like the feeling of it. It made her feel more like an object then a she-cat. Just one person, that was her friend that was a guy, who didn't even try to look at her like that. At least not by any means too, she knew what temptation was, but there was a point that you can stop it for a better time. Not realizing her gaze was no longer at the fire, but at Raggedpaw, she turned back to the Fire. Not really sure what she felt about catching herself staring, only for curious purposes other than interested.
Shaking that thought from her head, she looked back down at her thin legs. Not sure if she should just hold them up to her chest like she did before or just kind of lay them on the space they had in-between. She chose the one that made her the most cold, her eyes were unwavering on them though. Memorypaw shook slightly, but she could manage to not have her teeth chatter. Trying to make it seem like she was fine with the cold air on her fur , but frankly she wouldn't be able to handle it much longer, her body tempting her to go get someone to lay next too, but something held her back. She wanted to talk to Raggedpaw, only because she wanted to find out what happened to the she-cat. .Oh, how much her mother told stories about what happened and that he seemed all that nice. The memory caused Memorypaw to roll her eyes and giggle only a little bit. But it wasn't her full out laugh, which was in her case. Very, very likely to happen because she would most likely become slap happy, and that may never actually end with her remembering what happened that night, or she just passes out when becoming way too tired. People had to admit that she was much happier and easy going when tired, so people liked to see her after the grumpy stage and into the slap happy one. Memorypaw's eyes glimmered with humor and she looked back too see if he was watching, "I'm not crazy. I just remembered something funny." She muttered to him and then faced towards the fire, awaiting his comeback to her saying and yet alone giggling for no apparent reason earlier on. Opening her mouth to defend herself before he could answer, thought better of it. Only because if you were all ready digging yourself a hole, you shouldn’t dig any deeper than it is. Rolling her eyes about the tom to tom comment she sat and waited pacently for the reply.

Dominopaw blinked at Raggedpaw, "I don't really have to put up with them when I can ignore them." He mewed, eyes slightly narrowed at the tom. Dominopaw felt very cold and his claws raked the ground. He glanced at Memorypaw, thinking of edging closer toher to share body heat, but he knew that would just end up back firing on him. "And I'd rather be loyal to my clan than have a she-cat that never complains." The black and white tom explained.
He then glanced to Memorypaw and nodded, "Yea, well, it is annoying." He muttered softly, green eyes glinting with surprise that Memorypaw was actually seeming to understand what Dominopaw had to put up with back at the camp. He watched Raggedpaw and Memorypaw exchange glances at talk and suddenly felt left out. He curled up a little more, attempting to forget he'd ever felt left out.

Raggedpaw stared at Memorypaw when she spoke and he couldn't help but snort playfully at her words. Seriously, I think I would go insane if I was a tom and had them following after me. He raised his eyebrows at her, glanced at Dominopaw in a can-you-believe-she-just-said-that? kind of way. "Well, dear Memory, you wouldn't fully understand. Unless, you happen to have any testosterone flowing through your body, and I'm highly positive you don't. She-cats are fun, especially when it comes to the point of adoration," he said, a smirk visible on his face. And I'd rather be loyal to my clan than have a she-cat that never complains. Raggedpaw's smirk faded as he turned to Dominopaw. "Whatever floats your boat," he said with a shrug and a devilish smile.
Raggedpaw heard a giggly and looked at Memorypaw. He raised his eyebrows, pretty sure that nobody had said something funny. I'm not crazy. He chuckled at her, flicking his tail back and forth in content. "Sure you aren't. Might I ask, what you remembered?' he said, using his pleading voice that worked like a charm when he wiggled out of his apprentice duties. His mentor was a sucker. Raggedpaw sat down, suddenly feeling weary. His antics at night always catch up with him. He wrapped his tail around his paws and waited for Memorypaw's answer. His gaze flitted over her, wondering why her fur was so messed up. Had she been fighting a badger in her sleep? His blue orbs flashed back to her face and he raised his eyebrows for an answer.

Memorypaw looked at the black and white tom and smirked noticing what he meant, “I get it. They are annoying and probably no tom would want to have their children ever. But ignoring is a good way…” Her voice sounded firm as if she just finished and sealed a whole moons worth of arguing and put it straight. Moving her body around, she quickly paced around the two toms and the same signature smirk was put on her face. Her tail quickly lashed out and wiped a crossed the black and white toms pelt and she gave him some sort of smile. The thought process was killing her of the toms and how they work. Even though it was simple, it confused the she-cats because they made everything more difficult. Questioning what Dominopaw said her voice rose slightly in question, “What if the love of your life was in a different clan and you never got to find out until you did something out of the warrior code?” She challenged. Sometimes she just liked to make a challenged because it was fun to see the other components reactions. “I can tell. I know it is.” She smirked with a hint of laughter behind it, “are you deaf to what all the she-cat do when both of you walk by? I swear someone has given them catnip and they just don’t ever shut up about how they look. Ever.” Memorypaw looked back at the tom with confused eyes before realizing that he never replied to the question she asked back, “How are you?” She asked bluntly. Her hard gaze landed on the tom when she stopped circling them, her blue gray eyes glimmering because of the moonlight.
Staring at Raggedpaw quickly when she saw his gaze go to Dominopaw. Her gaze came to a hard glare and she snorted, “I’m not blind. I hope you realize that.” Listening to what he said next her face went back into the smirk and Memorypaw shot back whatever her mind thought of real quick. “Well, Dear Ragged, What if you were in my fur and watched all the she-cats go after the hot toms in our clan and cling to you like a tick? While a she-cat like me gets to sit there and watch you get to lie to their faces about them. I don’t want to be anybody’s toy, thank you very much.” Memorypaw looked at him with a long stare when he chuckled, and a real rare smile crossed her face for only a second, “Yup. I’m not. It’s just what my mom says about you…along with the whole pack of she-cats swarming after you both.” She mewed moving her gaze back to Dominopaw. Her pelt still shown to be pretty when it was messed up but she preferred it to be clean and kept down, moving slowly over to the 7 moon old tom she sat next to him and put a tail on his shoulder. She knew what he does always gets to them at the end of the day. He wouldn’t be a normal living cat so to speak if he didn’t feel any bad emotion after that.

I get it. They are annoying and probably no tom would want to have their children ever. But ignoring is a good way. Dominopaw smirked and nodded. "Exactly... And ignoring is practically the only way!" The black and white tom nearly jumped out of his skin as he felt her tail lash across his side. Then he realized what it was and smirked, nipping at her tail.
What if the love of your life was in a different clan and you never got to find out until you did something out of the warrior code? Dominopaw thought for a moment before responding, "Well, I guess I'd do what I have to do... But I have a feeling the she-cat Raggedpaw is seeing isn't the love of his life." Dominopaw's green eyes glinted in laughter. "I don't think you'v met your true love, Raggedpaw." He explained quickly.
"Yes, I guess I am deaf, in that case." The tom mewed with a smirk, then realized he hadn't answered her question. "Oh, I'm fine, thanks... Cold." He answered, a shiver going down his spine.
