The small, unusual blue tortoiseshell tom sat upon his usual fence in the middle of twoleg place. He glanced around with a wistful sigh as his thoughts floated to The Occult, and their beautiful leader Ocher. The little white she-cat who was strong, and smart, and the love of Aspen's life... Even if Ocher didn't know it yet. A sigh slipped from Aspen's mouth as he looked to the sky, watching rays from the sun slide down between the clouds and land on a soft patch of grass.

Her life as the Alpha of the ever-growing Occult was becoming more and more demanding. She went out everyday, hunting and searching for bountiful territory and more recruits. She walked along the fence tops, her tail waving back and forth. Her pure white fur glowed like a candle flame in the evening sunlight, almost the same color as her eyes. She stopped and scented. A familiar smell wafted over her, someone she knew, she just wasn’t quite sure who it was. She sat down and narrowed her eyes, she couldn’t see anyone, but they were there. “Hello?” She called her gravely voice breaking the silence.

Aspen had moved to the ground, but when he heard the rich voice of Ocher, he jumped back onto the fence at sat down, curling his tail over his paws. "Greetings, Ocher." He mewed, dipping his head politely, and respectively to his Alpha. He hoped she liked his politeness... The other she-cats seemed to. But they didn't matter, they were'nt Ocher.

Ocher looked at Aspen, smiling. "Hello."
