the apprentice nestled his head on his paws, his body limp and his normally twinkling blue eyes were dull. he lay underneath the shade of a tree on the far side of the camp, staring at the ground in front of him. his ears flicked back in forth, catching snippets of conversation here and there. he inhaled a long breath and shakily exhaled it. it was the day after his explosion fight with memorypaw and he didn't know how to handle it. he refused to go out training or clean the elder's den and instead stuck to the shadows of the camp by himself. he couldn't believe that he and memorypaw had fought. they never fought. they were best friends, two peas in a pod, the biggest troublemakers of the clan, and they did everything together. when one of them was invited out hunting, it was a given that the other would come to. it was rare if someone spotted one without the other. and now that was all over, because raggedpaw couldn't even imagine apologizing.

first off, because he didn't know how to apologize. he had never done it before. and second, he still didn't understand why memorypaw was angry at him. so what could he apologize for? being a fraud, a worthless ass, a waste of time? some of the things that his best friend had called him. and she was absolutely right, he was all those things. he didn't have a heart. but what hurt raggedpaw the most was what he called memorypaw and how he did it. when he was yelling at her, he was reminded of how his father would yell at him. that was what upset raggedpaw the most; that he reminded himself of his father.

a sigh escaped the tom's lips as he stared at the ground. most of his clanmates were afraid to approach him. he was cranky and lonesome, two things that didn't work well on raggedpaw. he was always charming and happy, not sad and angry. it was unusual. the tom sniffled and silently scolded himself. he would not let his clanmates see his pain. on the outside he looked angry, but he was breaking on the inside.

_{Dominopaw stepped out of the apprentice den with a yawn and scoped his eyes around the camp, instantly spotting Raggedpaw underneath the large tree. He seemed down, so Dominopaw padded over. "You ok Ragged Sagged?" He asked, attempting his humor would help the tom out. As he'd been formerly called 'Domino Bomino'.}

The tom's dull blue gaze flashed to Dominopaw's face, relieved that it was his friend. If it was another damn she-cat apprentice coming over to check on him, Raggedpaw was sure he was going to claw one of their on-going mouths off. He flicked his tail in acknowledgement at the other apprentice. His striped ears flicked back as he rolled over and sat up, not caring how much dirt had just gotten on his pelt. "Hey kid," he muttered, even though he was about the same age as Domino. Raggedpaw let out a large yawn; he hadn't gotten barely any sleep last night. "No, I'm not okay. Life sucks," he said with a loud groan, earning some irritated looks from a couple warriors nearby. Raggedpaw stuck his tongue out at them.

He asked curiously, not really sure what was wrong. But he'd seen Memorypaw too, and planned to stop back and see her, which meant he wanted to figure out what was wrong with Raggedpaw fast... He'd acquired a bit of a crush on the she-cat.}

After the warriors looked away, the apprentice went back to his sulking. He dragged himself into a sitting position and glanced around. When his bright blue eyes landed on Dominopaw, he twitched his ears. Oh yeah, he was still there. What happened? Raggedpaw's gaze slid to the ground as his thoughts drifted to Memorypaw. Even thought Dominopaw was someone who wouldn't spill his darkest secrets to the Clan, Raggedpaw still didn't want to tell him his troubles. He wasn't ready yet and besides, the heat of the day combined with his lack of food was making him kinda loopy. He turned back to Dominopaw and opened his mouth to speak. "A.... Ahhh... Life happened, dude! It's all 'hey guys! let's make raggedpaw's day miserable! they're all rah rah go team!'," he dropped back on the ground in a laying position, his paws stuck upright in the air. "Liiiiffffeeeeee... it's ass," he said with a humorless chuckle.

Dominopaw tried to figure out what the hell he was talking about, but honestly didn't know. He hadn't heard the other apprentices talking about Raggedpaw, so what was making his day miserable, Dominopaw didn't know. "Um... Do you want to be alone?" The black and white tom offered softly.}

"Alone? What do you mean?" Raggedpaw stared at Dominopaw, surprised. "I really don't care who's with me. I'm fine either lonely or with someone~" He grinned, showing pointy, white teeth.
