; summerpaw nodded softly, pressing her muzzle against his. "me neither. you are the one i'm closest too in the clan, and i don't want that to change."
[/color] the small ginger she-cat murmured softly, giving him a lick on the cheek. she gazed at him, a saying popping into her head, one that her mother had told her long ago, when she was still young. Sagefoot purred. "That's a very wise saying." He mewed softly and wrapped his tail around the she-cat, pulling her closer. He couldn't help but stare into her baby blue eyes. They were too gorgeous to look away from, and they sort of drew him to Summerpaw. He licked her ear in return.

; summerpaw smiled softly, pressing her face into sagefoot's fur, breathing in his scent once more. it was perfect, and uniquely sagefoot. and she loved it. "my mother, firecatcher, used to say it all the time before she died. i guess i felt it fit the moment..."

Sagefoot nodded slowly, feeling bad that Summerpaw had been through so much so early on in her life. Sagefoot didn't know what he'd do if his mother had died when he was young... I'd be no where without her I bet. I'd probably not even be a warrior! He thought to himself, a slight smile tugging at his lips at the thought.
