' Echo padded back into the twoleg place known as the main camp for The Renegades. She lay on the couch, stomach full of kits. Echo felt horribly lazy and sick all the time, and she hated having to be helped because she couldn't do things by herself. If these weren't Rambo's kits, I'd kill myself! She thought to herself with a sigh, knowing that weren't true. But the thought of Rambo sent butterflies to her stomach.

She stood up and slid off the couch, but when she landed a pain shot into her stomach and she let out a loud yowl of pure pain. It sounded as if Echo was being torchered. All at once she slid to the ground, the pain too much to bare.

the muscular tom stared at his companion. he was utterly useless. "i didn't think stupidity was an actual disease, but you have a fatal version of it," he said to the small white tom, wondering why he was even part of the renegades. a kit would be of more use to him than this piece of foxdung. "just... no," rambo said in his signature monotone voice and turned away from the tom. it was getting too hard to find able-bodied cats with a desire for bloodlust. what was the world coming too when everyone was... kind?

rambo shuddered, but his thoughts were interrupted by the screech of a cat nearby. rambo instantly recognized echo's voice and dove towards the twoleg den, pushing past cats until he reached the couch where she lay. he knew what was happening, he'd seen it happen to kissa before. granted, these were kits he actually wanted, so the situation was all reversed. he dashed to echo's side and pushed her onto the couch so she could be more comfortable. he glanced around wildly, spotting a tree branch nearby. he lifted it onto the couch next to her so she bite down on it if the pain was too overwhelming. "echo, it's okay, i'm here," he said, trying to comfort her.

' The grey she-cat glanced up at Rambo, pain deep in her bright blue eyes. Her whole body stung, and she bit down on the branch willingly. How will I know when to push? She wondered, but suddenly an unbarable wave of pain went through her and she could tell it was time. She pushed with great force until finally two kits slipped out. A small grey tabby she-cat and a black tom that looked exactly like Rambo, except with Echo's eyes.

Echo let go of the branch, looking at the kits with delight shining deep in her blue eyes. "Oh they're wonderful!" She mewed with delight, looking up at Rambo. "What do you want to name them?" She asked, motioning to the grey tabby she-cat. "A girl," She mewed, then touched the black tom. "And a boy!" Echo purred, it was exactly what she wanted. One of each.

Rambo pushed his muzzle in her fur, whispering comforting words in her ear. When the two kits emerged, a smile lit up his face. a girl.. and a boy! Rambo's mouth dropped open. shit ass fnawighaiega. He stared at the boy, identical to himself except his Echo's bright blue eyes. He smiled at her and nodded. "They're perfect," he murmured and touched his nose to hers. He looked back to the tom and licked his little black head, then grey tabby's. "Can we name her Aspen?" he asked softly.

' Echo sensed Rambo's unease as she mentioned the boy. She'd ask him about it after they were done naming. Aspen. How pretty. "Sure, that's a gorgeous name." Echo purred and turned her gaze to the black tom. "And... What about Shadow for him?" She asked Rambo, hoping he liked the name, because she did.

He purred and bent down to nudge his kits lovingly. "Shadow fits him perfectly," he said with a wide smile and licked Echo's cheek.

' The she-cat purred and licked his ear in return, nudging the kits to her stomach so they could feed. By now, the crowd of Renegades cats had dispersed and were doing other things, so Echo looked Rambo over. "Are you ok? You made a weird face when I announced Shadow was a boy.." She tipped her head, blue eyes seeming to go right through Rambo. She wanted the truth, right now. Her eyes were serious and didn't move from Rambo's yellow eyes.

Kissa walked down from the attic. She smelt Echo and Rambo. She sighed and put her head down, she wanted to talk to rambo but he was to busy with Echo. Why does he have to do this to me, i was just trying to get his attention. she thought and sighed. Now it felt like her heart was torn into two and stomped on. She wanted to cry badly but nothing came out.

he blinked and looked elsewhere, not able to meet her piercing blue gaze. "he... kissa already had a boy, bandit. but since shadow's a tom also, they're going to have to fight sometime to see who'll be the next heir," he said with a sigh and glanced back at echo. "i didn't know how you would take it, so i didn't want to tell you." he sat back on his haunches and gazed down at shadow, the little black tom squirming around. he couldn't say if he looked stronger than bandit. yet, bandit was an exact replica of rambo, solid black and golden eyes. rambo's ears flicked back against his skull. the creaking of stairs alerted his attention, he thought the others had left. he tasted the air and froze slightly. "kissa?" he called, his voice regaining his usual monotone voice.

' Echo's ears pinned back against her skull and she snarled. "I see how honest you are with me." She mewed, giving a sigh. She looked down at the little tom she'd already come to love. The grey she-cat licked his head affecionately and nudged him closer to her stomach, wrapping her tail around both Aspen and Shadow protectively as she also smelt Kissa. A growl rose from deep in her chest, but she tried to hide it quickly.
