[Pantherstrike]

Pantherstrike walked up to the highrock. May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the highrock for a clan meeting!" She called. She looked around as the cats had gathered around slowly. She smiled when she saw Ravenpaw.

Today will be a good day to make A apprentice a warrior. She said and then paused. Ravenpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend this clan, even at the cost of your life?" Then by the powers of Starclan I give you your warrior name. Ravenpaw, from now on, you will be known as Ravenclaw. Thunderclan welcomes you as a full warrior.

' Ravenpaw was sitting by a group of warriors when he heard Pantherstar's yowl. He whipped around, paws tingling in anticipation. He'd heard from his mentor that he'd done well on his assessment, and so he excpeted to be made a warrior soon.

The white and black tom padded over to the high rock, sitting at the front, staring up at Pantherstar. When he heard his name called he stepped forward, mewing shortly after, "I do." Ravenpaw felt excitement rush through him as he earned his warrior name. Ravenclaw, yes! He thought to himself excitedly, turning away from Pantherstar to hear Kovu calling his name loudly. A purr rosed from him and he padded over to join Kovu and Maplefur, hoping Spottedscar would come over.

pride coursed through the she-cat like a bullet, her bright blue eyes shining more visibly. "ravenclaw! ravenclaw!" her voice rang out, probably droning out her clanmates. she smiled widely at her son. finally, after moons of pining for him, she could be at his warrior ceremony. when he joined her and kovu, maplefur purred loudly and licked ravenclaw's cheek. "i am so proud of you," she murmured, the warmth and pride she felt audible in her tone. her gaze flickered to an oncoming cat and she grinned at spottedscar, noting that ravenclaw had become friends with the medicine cat, but hopefully nothing more. she glanced at ravenclaw, a warning in her eyes, before turning to kovu to give them some privacy.

spottedscar approached them cautiously; she didn't want to intrude on their family moment. "congratulations ravenclaw," she said happily.

' Ravenclaw purred and nudged Maplefur's shoulder, "Thanks, mom." He mewed, blue eyes twinkling. Then, approached Spottedscar, the she-cat he'd become great friends with. He noted that Kovu and Maplefur had walked a bit away, but he knew he was being watched. He purred in response to Spottedscar and mewed, "Thank you." Knowing he was being watched he simply smiled and touched his nose to her shoulder in thanks.

' Kovu looked at Maplefur, "Don't worry, he's not a stupid cat." He mewed to the she-cat, trying to assure her that Ravenclaw didn't love the medicine cat. But honestly, Ravenclaw and Spottedscar had become quite friendly.

Maplefur watched him touch his nose to her shoulder, and frowned. "Oh, I don't know, Kovu. They seem a bit too friendly to each other, sometimes. I'm kind of worried. What if he likes her?"

Kovu laughed, gently nudging Maplefur's shoulder. "Oh, shut up, Maplefur. Stop worrying. They don't like each other, and I know it."

Maplefur still seemed pretty worried. "How do you know?"

Kovu stared at her and blinked, as if she was an idiot. "Because it's against the warrior code to like a medicine cat, of course!"

"Ssh!" Maplefur hissed. "What if they heard?" She turned to the cats. Luckily, but unluckily at the same time, they were too busy talking to notice.

"They're just good friends," Kovu said, but his jaw was opened in shock, and his narrowed eyes betrayed anger.

"You and I both know that they're not, Kovu," Maplefur whispered in his ear. "We have to put a stop to this before they become mates."
