I was on my e-mail on yahoo and i saw these interesting facts about chinese food.

There are more chinese resturants in the U.S. than Mcdonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Domino's and Pizza hut combined. The crusine that evolved doesn't look alot like chinese food in China.

-Chop suey was invented in the U.S.

-Don't expect a fortune cookie to arrive after a meal in Shanghai. Almost all the 3 billion fortune cookies are produced in the U.S.

-A few in china has ever herd of General tso's chicken which was named after a real 19th century Chinese General tso Tsung-T'ang but is thought to be invented in the 1950's by a refugee from China's Civil War who opened a resturant on East 44th street New York, Just one of the 46,000 Chinese resturants in the U.S.!

This is about Zippers.

Now if you look at your zipper on your pants it might say YKK in small letters well most clothing labels don't make their own Zippers and buy them from Yoshida Manufacturing Corporation (YKK) a japanese company. In fact zippers were made in 1893 by Whitcomb Judson of Chicago who originally called them Clasp-Lockers. They didn't get their Zippier name until 1923 when BF Goodrich started marketing boots with clasps that the company started calling them Zippers!
