Virtus. A city deep within the infested jungle, untainted by machines, ruled by felines. Black, large, wild panthers, jaguars, tigers, leopards... they call themselves the Black Hand. Just on the verge of entering their own age of enlightenment, the city flourishes with new technologies, able to create simple structures out of trees of said jungle. But it is not peace, for their tyranny is long going, their rule harsh, their lust craving blood. Continually obsessed with the idea of gaining land, they forced all citizens to join a collective legion for their army, going over drills and combat moves until the time is right, and they expand.
However there is a barrier in their way. A paradox in their plans, the wolves. Predators almost equal to they, exiled centuries ago and forced to starve in the outlands, a barren plain, restricted of natural resources. Their bodies malnourished, they continue to survive simply by the fuel of revenge. Although they are scattered loners, there has been talk of an uprising of a pack, to simply try and survive.
Another contradictory path still remains, however. Secluded in deep isolation, living just on the edge of the jungle, is a small, highly religious tribe known as the Solus. Purely pumas, their religion is not wide spread nor known. Highly ethnocentric, they refuse to make contact with the outside world. Besides the occasional Black Hand that forces them to hand over their vast amount of natural resources, they remain unnoticed, ignored. It seems no one really notices the wheels that are turning inside their heads.
