Jaderain nodded a silent greeting to Melodywind, before rising to her paws. She’d eat, and then it would be time to go find the Tansy leaves that were declining steadily from their sparse storage. Dipping her head quickly, she scooped up a mouse, and went to eat the succulent morsel.

Melodywind followed her leader into her den with an air of urgentness she didn't have before. Once in the peace and quiet of the leaders den, Melodywind sat with her tail neatly tucked over her paws. "Gorgeclaw has gone missing. I have been going back in forth between sending a patrol party to track him but I sense something is very wrong in the forest." the deputy licked her lips as if they were dry and needed moistening. She was nervous. Something was definitely wrong in the forest.
OOC//: I'm not sure if it should be a random cat sense the rogue band killed him off anyway so I just put a random name.

Pantherstar looked at the depuy "Well you have been doing the right thing by sending patrols out. Im glad that i picked you. What do you think happened?" She asked Melodywind.
OOC: Did you ask kenzi? Well if you can talk to her and see what she says.

"No cat has seen nor heard from him since sunhigh yesterday. That was the last anyone seen him. He could have just gone off on his own but I can't be sure." Melodywind twitched nervously. She didn't like the fact that a cat was gone. It seemed to make ThunderClan look weak and she didn't want the other Clans to get ideas.

Pantherstar nodded Well if he does come back we need to ask him questions. Just keep sending search parties and if you smell anything, let me know immediatly she said.

"Absolutely Pantherstar. I will let you know right away if we know anything more." Melodywind dipped her head and slowly backed out of the den. She pricked her ears when she exited the den and looked around. No one to be seen. She sighed heavily before she advanced to the camp tunnel and slipped out quietly.

Pantherstar sighed If one cat is missing then how many more will be? She asked herself. She exited the den and went to see Jaderain. Jaderain? i need to talk to you She said softly.

Jaderain, who still remained in the shade for the time being, lifted her head at her leader’s familiar call. Sensing the grave tone in Patherstar’s voice, the young medicine-cat gave a small nod, “Of course.” She said, gesturing towards the medicine-cat den in a long, sweeping motion. It was quite there, and she wasn’t expecting anyone, so they would be alone.

“Is there something bothering you?” She inquired, noting her leader’s subtle distraught. “I haven’t had anything profound. I’ve only had my usual visits from Starclan. However, I’m more then able to make a special trip to the Moonstone if it will help.” She said.
