Rainpaw tipped his head. "Me? Entertain? Hm, what do you expect me to do, go find a bone and chew on it like a dog?" He teased with a charming smile, unable to resist the 'big eyed kitten face' he sat down and thought of something to do that would entertain the she-cat.
Rainpaw glanced around, nothing really coming to mind, until he spotted a tiger lily growing next to the river. It was an orangeish color and he marveled at it a moment before walking over and gently plucking it out of the ground. He turned and padded back over to Crystalpaw, setting it by her paws. The grey tabby tom blushed slightly and mewed. "For you."

"Me? Entertain? Hm, what do you expect me to do, go find a bone and chew on it like a dog?" Crystalpaw giggled, deciding that she loved his smile. At least he's not a douche. She thought about other toms she tried to flirt with who were nothing but rude to her because they thought she was a whore. They're just haters. She watched him curiously as he walked over and plucked a tiger lilly. She narrowed her eyes in slight confusion, but still smiled. It was a 'What are you doing?' kind of look. "For you." The apprentice gaped her mouth open and sniffed the flower, loving the scent. She closed her eyes and breathed in the air wafting around the flower, wishing the stinky apprentice's den smelled like this. She opened her eyes only to see him blush and giggled. Crystalpaw then extended her paw and lightly tapped his face, with a huge face. "Thanks." She said, and purred. "It's my favorite flower."

Rainpaw smiled, "I'm glad you like it." He mewed, the temptation of the beautiful she-cat was finally too much for him to bare and he leaned in, his small black nose touching Crystalpaw's nose. He felt a slight electric shock go through him, shooting down his spine. It was something he had never felt before...

Crystalpaw giggled awkwardly as he touched his nose to hers. It was a weird feeling. Commitment, commitment.. Commitment. The words flowed through her head, making her shiver. She didn't like those words. "What are you doing?" She asked, nervously, but kept the position. It did feel nice..

Rainpaw couldn't move, he seemed glued to the spot. "Do you not like it?" He asked curiously, light blue eyes searching her blue green ones curiously. He hoped to find some sort of emotion so he knew what to do next... Crystalpaw seemed so different than the other she-cats. Because she's like me.

Crystalpaw blinked her eyes slowly, not knowing what to say, so she decided to wing it. "Um, no, not exactly." She reponded honestly. She sighed, and then sat back, not wanting to lead him on. He was different, that was for sure, so maybe leading him on wouldn't be the wisest thing. She didn't know what would happen... "We're just too alike, Rainpaw. Y'know?" She asked, and looked at her paws. Them two together would be a disaster, she could see it all now.

Rainpaw sighed and glanced sideways at the ground, not really knowing what to say at that moment. "Whatever Crystalpaw. If it isn't worth a shot to you, I'll be out of your hair." He mewed and turned away from the she-cat, glancing over his shoulder briefly before padding off towards the camp, his white paws moving rythmically across the ground.

The way he said the words hurt the shecat the most. But... commitment.. He was as big of a player as she was, so why was he acting so weird? "You fuckin' hypocrit!" She spat at him as he padded away. She was angry now, and that was a rare site. But she didn't care. He seriously made her angry. He used shecats as much as she used toms, so he had no room to talk.

Rainpaw came to a stop and whipped around. "You don't understand Crystalpaw. I don't use she-cats the way you do! I'm not looking to have fun, I'm looking for a mate. I'm not scared of commitment like some cats here." He snarled, as well he was unusually mad, but he didn't care at the moment if his words stung. I'll regret it later though. He reminded himself and raced back to camp.

Tears stung at her eyes then. His words... hurt. She hadn't realized how sensitive she was until now. Quickly, she shook her head, and took a deep breath. Okay, I'm good. He's just a hater. Everything he says are lies. She smiled, getting her confidence back. "I don't use.. I just.." She mummbled, thinking about why she did what she did. The toms move on.. She silently padded away, but glanced at the fish they didn't finish. It'll never work out between us anyway. My fire's too bright.
