Flamecloud walked into camp with two rabbits clamped into his jaws. The smell going through his nostrils made him hungry since he hadn't eaten all morning. He walked over to the fresh-kill pile and dropped them. Clan First He thought. |

Poppystar scrambled out of the large badger den that serves as the leaders den when it wasn't safe, or comfortable to sleep out in the open. She stood and shook herself, little bits of dirt and moss flung off of herself and onto the floor of the Windclan camp. She walked over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a vole, her favorite. She nodded to Flamecloud politely "Good Morning Flamecloud." She mumbled over the fat piece of prey that filled her jaws.

Flamecloud looked up at his leader Good morning Poppystar, How are you? He asked. He had learned his manners from his mother since she would always yell at him to say them. |

She walked a little closer to her den, to the spot where she usually ate with her brother, Whitedawn. "Would you care you join me?" She asked after putting her vole down next to her paws.

When his leader said that, he nodded and padded over to where his leader was laying. Its a nice day out today. he said with a smile. He loved waking up and listening to the birds singing in the morning. So nice! |

The Windclan leader smiled, and took a bite of her vole. It was delicious, so tender it seemed to melt in her mouth. She chewed and swallowed, licking her lips "It's simply wonderful!" She purred softly.

Poppystar took another bite of the vole, chewed and swallowed. She used the time to think, had anything new happened lately? She couldn't think of anything interesting, life in Windclan had been rather dull as of late. She shook her head in response to Flamecloud's question "Have you noticed anything?" She asked, her voice sweet and smooth.

Flamecloud looked at his leader, "Well.. Kits are being born and there is a lot o prey going on the freshkill pile" he said nervously.

She nodded, the weather was nice and everyone and everything was breeding. It was nice, her clan was stronger than ever, but sometimes it got to her, she wanted to be a mother, more than anything, almost more than being leader of her clan. She knew Crookedpool could take care of the clan, the only problem was finding a tom willing to father them. Most toms where put off by her height.
